Dear Chiefs Council
Please be advised, the UBCIC Chiefs Council Meeting is scheduled for May 29 & 30, 2013.
The Chiefs Council Meeting will be held in Nanaimo at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre- (101 Gordon Street). We are pleased to inform you the UBCIC will reimburse travel and accommodation costs for the Chief or the Chief's proxy for this Chiefs Council Meeting.
We have reserved a block of rooms under the Union of BC Indian Chiefs at the Coast Bastion Inn (11 Bastion Street, Nanaimo, BC). Book your room as soon as possible by calling 1-800-716-6199.
If you would like to submit a resolution, please adhere to the UBCIC Resolutions Process outlined at: www.ubcic.bc.ca/resolutions. Formatted draft resolutions and briefing notes must be submitted by 4:00 pm on May 8, 2013.
