As per UBCIC Resolution 2009-53 (attached below), the Union of BC Indian Chiefs' Chiefs Council is November 24 and 25, 2010.

For your reference, the resolutions from the September 2010 Annual General Assembly will be emailed and faxed to the Chiefs Council.

Re: UBCIC Chiefs Council Schedule for 2010

WHEREAS the UBCIC Annual General Assembly and Chiefs Council meetings constitute the primary mechanisms through which the member communities are informed of new legislation, policies and initiatives;

WHEREAS the UBCIC Annual General Assembly and Chiefs Council meetings are the mechanisms through which the UBCIC Executive and staff receive ongoing mandates and direction from the UBCIC member communities; and

WHEREAS the UBCIC will host an Annual General Assembly and three Chiefs Council meetings in the 2010 calendar year;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the UBCIC Chiefs Council have reviewed and commit the following as tentative dates:

March 17-18
June 2-3
September 15-17 (Annual General Assembly)
November 24-25

THEREFORE BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the UBCIC staff will confirm dates, locations and draft agenda and commit to provide notice to the UBCIC Chiefs Council.
