Kingcome Flood Relief Fund
Please Donate

On September 25th and 26th the Dzawada'enuxw First Nation of Kingcombe Inlet, BC suffered considerable damage due to flooding. The Kingcome River flooded its banks and caused severe devastation to the village infrastructure and homes. This was a result of the torrential downpour of rain leading up to the weekend experienced in the North Vancouver Island region.

The Dzawada'enuxw First Nation community is in need of financial support to provide assistance to community members who have been displaced from their homes.

A Kingcome Flood relief fund has been established by Dzawada'enuxw First Nation. Those wishing to make financial contributions can do so through inter-bank/credit union transfer to:

Kingcome Relief Fund
Coastal Community Credit Union Account # 726917

UBCIC is a NGO in Special Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
