On September 25th and 26th the Dzawada'enuxw First Nation of Kingcombe Inlet, BC suffered considerable damage due to flooding. The Kingcome River flooded its banks and caused severe devastation to the village infrastructure and homes. This was a result of the torrential downpour of rain leading up to the weekend experienced in the North Vancouver Island region.

The Dzawada'enuxw First Nation community is in need of financial support to provide assistance to community members who have been displaced from their homes.
