Dear Chiefs Council, sister organizations and friends:

The UBCIC Chiefs Council Meeting is scheduled for June 1st-2nd, 2016. The Chiefs Council will be held at Seabird Island Band Gym (2895 Chowat Road, Agassiz), Stó:lō Territory. We are pleased to inform you the UBCIC will reimburse travel and accommodation costs for the Chief or the Chief's proxy for this Chiefs Council Meeting. Attached please find a proxy template letter if required.

We have rooms reserved at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa (100 Esplanade Avenue, Harrison Hot Springs, BC) under the Union of BC Indian Chiefs block. You can book your hotel online by downloading this reservation form, fill it in and send it in. Please RSVP and book your room as soon as possible. You can also book your room by calling Harrison Hot Springs directly at 1-800-663-2266 (at prompt press 1 for group reservations) and use Group Name “Union of BC Indian Chiefs.” 

A draft final agenda is available.  As directed at the UBCIC Chiefs Council on February 17th -18th, 2016, the first day of the Chiefs Council meeting (June 1st) will be dedicated to discussion on Title and Rights.
