Permanent, Full-Time Social Policy Analyst

The Union of BC Indian Chiefs (UBCIC) is seeking a permanent, full-time Policy Analyst to support the work of our organization and assist in carrying out the mandate as directed by UBCIC’s member Nations. Reporting to the Policy Director, the successful candidate will focus primarily on files and issues related to MMIWG2S and gender equity, children and families, and justice. The successful candidate will conduct policy research and develop high-level written materials and communications, provide technical support to political leadership, have experience working with First Nations communities to advance Indigenous Title and Rights, and will be able to assist in carrying out operations and additional duties as needed for a busy organization. This position is an excellent opportunity to be part of a leading, member-driven Indigenous political advocacy organization.
