NOTICE TO BC FIRST NATIONS

SAVE THE DATE: ALL CHIEFS MEETING ON CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

The objective of this meeting is to review the recent federal legislation Bill C-92: An Act Respecting First Nations, Inuit and Metis children, youth and families as well as recent amendments to the Child, Family, and Community Service Amendment Act (Bill 26) and identify key issues and actions.

LOCATION: Xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and SəliX lwətaʔɬ/SelíX lwitulh(Tsleil-Waututh)
Territories – Vancouver, BC.

WHO: For BC Chiefs, leaders and technicians/experts.

A travel subsidy will be made available for one Chief or delegate per First Nation.
