Dear Chiefs Council, sister organizations and friends:

The UBCIC Chiefs Council Meeting is scheduled for February 21^st- 22^nd, 2018. The Chiefs Council will be held at Musqueam Community Centre, xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Territory).  We are pleased to inform you the UBCIC will reimburse travel and accommodation costs for the Chief or the Chief's proxy for this Chiefs Council Meeting.  Attached please find a proxy template letter if required.

We have rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn and Suites Vancouver Downtown (1110 Howe Street, Vancouver, BC) under the Union of BC Indian Chiefs block, with code UIC.  Please RSVP and book your room as soon as possible and prior to Tuesday January 30^th.  Reservations received after Tuesday January 30^th will be provided on a space available basis. You can book your room by calling the Holiday Inn directly at 1-800-663-9151 or book on line with this link.  

There will be a shuttle bus picking up guests from the River Rock Casino Resort (8811 River Rd, Richmond) and another shuttle bus picking up guests from the Holiday Inn and Suites Vancouver Downtown (1110 Howe Street, Vancouver), providing transport to Musqueam, and returning guests to their hotels at the end of the day.  The shuttle buses will be available for pick up at 7:30 a.m., leaving at 7:40 a.m.  They will be available  for return from Musqueam at 5:00 p.m., leaving at 5:10 p.m.
