UBCIC 50TH ANNUAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY
FINAL NOTICE

Dear Chiefs Council, sister organizations and friends:
The UBCIC 50th Annual General Assembly is scheduled for October 2nd- 4th, 2018. The AGA will be held at Moccasin Square Gardens, Tk’emlúps te Secwepemc Territory (315 Southern Yellowhead Hwy, Kamloops, BC). We are pleased to inform you the UBCIC will reimburse travel and accommodation costs for the Chief or the Chief's proxy for this AGA. Attached please find a proxy template letter if required.
UBCIC is hosting three special events in conjunction with the 50th AGA. On Monday October 1st, there will be an Indigenous Women in Leadership Dinner. On Tuesday October 2nd, we will be taking a group photograph outside, to honour the 50th AGA. On Wednesday October 3rd, please join UBCIC for a 50th AGA Dinner Banquet and Test Screening of the UBCIC Documentary Unceded Chiefs, and honouring of the Constitution Express. Details in the attached flyers.
UBCIC extends an invitation to founding UBCIC and homemaker members to join us for the 50th AGA Banquet.
Attached, please find a draft agenda for the 50th AGA. Commemorative gifts and comments to celebrate UBCIC’s 50th AGA can be made during the latter part of lunch each day. If you would like to make a more formal presentation, please let us know and we will include in the 50th AGA Dinner Banquet. On October 3rd, the Chiefs Council will honour Grand Chief Stewart Phillip in recognition of his 20 years as President of UBCIC.
