UBCIC 51^st ANNUAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Dear UBCIC Chiefs Council, sister organizations and friends:

Attached, please find a final updated draft agenda for the UBCIC 51^st Annual General Assembly, beginning tomorrow, October 1.

The AGA will be held at Musqueam Community Centre, xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Territory)(6735 Salish Dr, Vancouver, BC V6N 4C6).  We are pleased to inform you the UBCIC will reimburse travel and accommodation costs for the Chief or the Chief's proxy for this AGA.  Please use the attached proxy template letter if required.

The UBCIC Executive invite you to a Life Celebration for David Dennis, who has been diagnosed with end life liver disease and is working to get a transplant.  The Celebration will be held tonight, on September 30^th, from 4:30pm to 9:00pm and includes dinner, and will be at 312 Main Street, Vancouver (notice attached). 

HOTEL RESERVATIONS CAN BE MADE ON AN AVAILABILITY BASIS ONLY. The remaining rooms are blocked at the group rate of $189.00 per night at the Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport (7311 Westminster HWY) for all three nights (September 30, October 1st and 2nd, 2019).  To book a room at the Executive Hotel Vancouver Airport, please contact Dakota Holmes at [email protected] or via phone at 604-684-0231. Reservations to this hotel can be made on availability basis only. A shuttle bus will be available at both hotels.
