ALL CHIEFS MEETING ON CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

This two-day All Chiefs meeting will focus on supporting First Nations resume jurisdiction over their children, drawing on the implementation of An Act Respecting First Nations, Inuit and Metis children, youth, and families, including national standards, amendments to policy and practice in British Columbia and strategies including a new fiscal framework.

One BC chief and one technician per First Nation are invited to attend this event in person. A travel subsidy will only be made available for the one BC Chief or representative and the one technician per First Nation.

LOCATION: xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and Səl̓ilwətaʔɬ/Sel̓ílwitulh(Tsleil-Waututh) Territories – Vancouver, BC

VENUE: Marriot Vancouver Pinnacle, 1128 W Hastings St, Vancouver, BC V6E 4R5

WHO: One BC Chief and one technician per First Nation in person
